FIS World Cup Ski Cross and Snowboard
March 31, 2009 – Canada has currently won 32 World Cup medals in Snowboarding discipline and 14 World Cup medals in ski cross. These two Olympic disciplines remain to be Canada’s best chances to podium at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Rogers Sportsnet, an Olympic broadcaster, had realized the appetite for World Cup Snowboarding and has made this fast paced action sport a network pillar by airing over 100 individual races in 2008 alone – all races provided by Integrated Sports Management.
General Motors’ Pontiac brand has a snow and performance strategy and is proud to be the official vehicle of Canada’s Olympic team. Pontiac was the sole presenting sponsor of the FIS Ski Cross and Snowboard Cross on Rogers Sportsnet in the 2007-08 & 2008-2009 seasons.
Integrated Sports Management provided a specific and targeted branding opportunity for customized integration of the Pontiac brand on a major television network.
Integrated Sports Management thanks all its corporate partners; Rogers Sportsnet, General Motors, Telus, Molson’s, Kraft, RBC, McDonald’s and Infront Sports & Media.
32nd America’s Cup on TSN Broadband
On May 28th, 2008 TSN Broadband became the no. 1 destination for yachting enthusiasts in Canada as TSN announced a groundbreaking agreement with BMW Canada, which provided TSN Broadband with exclusive live Canadian coverage of what is now the world’s oldest contested event – The America’s Cup.
In addition to the live coverage, each race was made available on-demand at TSN.ca on a customized TSN Broadband Player. BMW Canada was the presenting sponsor of the coverage and fans were also able to access the America’s Cup on TSN Broadband through the BMW.ca website – the perfect cross promotional avenue.
Supporting this unique on-line, on demand coverage, TSN televised 4 hours of highlight shows. This marked the first time a Canadian sport broadband network had secured exclusive live rights to an entire major international sporting event.
Integrated Sports Management was instrumental in delivering TV and broadband rights from Comcast and Alcatel while ensuring the integrity of the brand, through America’s Cup Management.
ICC Cricket World on OMNI 2 Canada's First Multilingual/Multicultural Television Station
Traditional cricket matches last from one to five days. But a new version of the sport, Twenty20, lasts less than three hours, making it more conducive to TV coverage. This changes the game making it more fast-paced and engages the audience while bringing it closer to North American pro sports.
With the increased demand by the South Asian community for cricket, Omni TV wanted Indian cricket programming that could be edited into their daily multi-language newscasts. The ICC Cricket World is the official weekly program of the ICC with full access to the sport and its participants, comprehensively covering all aspects of the world cricket, including the World Cup.
The program is designed to appeal to both the established and emerging cricket fans and to aid in the growth of cricket in existing and developing markets. ICC Cricket World represents a rare and unique opportunity to build a massive weekly audience in what will be a prestigious, high quality environment.
